Reasons For The Slaughter is the fourth full length from Sweden's speed,thrash metal band Tyranex.Nine songs of raging fast and relentless metal aggression and fury.Musically the band performs a whirlwind of fast and intense guitar passages that are done with a skillful writing ability.The guitarist does create some memorable well played patterns even adding in some well played solo's throughout the songs.The drumming is fast and furious with some insanely fast drum passages.The drummer does create and execute some well performed drum patterns mainly staying the fast paced drum realm.The vocals are traditional thrashy screams that are delievered with a powerful range.Reasons For The Slaughter is my first time hearing this band but i must say i am impressed with the bands ability to write and perform speed metal that is both pays homage to the early 80's but also creates a fresh sound all their own.
